Jiet Kevin Group
Kevin is 35 years old and married with four children. She rents a four-room house, where she stays with her family. She also takes care of additional family members. Kevin has three meals a day and her greatest expense in a month is feeding the family and paying rent.
She sells food stuff in the market, where she must pay market dues. She works seven days a week and she normally receives about 20 customers a day. The main challenge she finds while carrying out her business is the rainy season. She uses an umbrella during the rains, but still the number of her customers and her subsequent income is much reduced throughout the season.
Kevin has worked with MCDT for three years now and she has so far received eight loans. She wants to use this loan to increase her stock. She also looks forward to expanding her business to improve her income.
