Tausaga has been married only a few months, but neither she nor her husband have ever had steady employment. Tausaga used an initial loan from SPBD to purchase seed and supplies to plant a vegetable and fruit garden. She has been raising cabbages, cucumbers, peas, tomatoes and pineapples. She hopes to grow this small farm into a reliable income stream. Tausaga has her first loan in full and on time, She is now eligible for a home improvement loan. Tausaga lives with her husband in a small, open Samoan house. She is very anxious to build a proper house for her future children.
