Mary M. produces palm oil on a large scale and distributes to customers buying in bulk and retail. Mary says she buys the palm nuts from farmers in her community and surrounding villages. Mary’s husband is a coco nut/cocoa farmer. She is forty– five years old, married with six children – three males and three females. She says four of them have completed junior high school and are learning trades. The last two are still in school. She lives with her family in a small town called Asaman, a farming/commercial town in the Western Region of Ghana.
She wants a loan to procure palm fruits in bulk to distribute to her increasing number of customers. It is her desire to give her two youngest children the best education.
