P. con 24 años de edad, es casado, de oficios Talabartero “elaboración de Zapatos para hombres”, habita junto a sus hijos, cuentan con la ayuda de su esposa para elaborar zapatos para la misma actividad, lleva 5 años de trabajar en su residencia que se encuentra ubicada en el Paraje Xepatan, de la Aldea de ChiP., del departamento de Totonicapán, Guatemala, actualmente la demanda de su clientela ha aumentado y debido a sus condiciones económicas en que se encuentra no, son suficientes para que el pueda aumentar su capital, por tal razón acudió a la Asociación ASDIR, a solicitar un préstamo, con la intención de comprar material para tejeduria y de esa manera poder sostener a su familia.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
