Yoeng Y. is 40 years old, married and lives with her husband, their five children and her mother in Bati district, Takeo province. She is a weaver and makes about US$5 of profit per day. She and her mother also grow vegetables to sell in the local market. Two of her children are in school, while three others are farmers. Mrs. Yoeng Y. is requesting a loan to purchase more silk with which to weave scarves.
