A loan of $925 helped work capital.

Freddy Ramon's story

Freddy Ramon V. C., 34, is married and has two daughters, ages 19 and 13. The older daughter is a freshman in college and the younger is in middle school. Freddy's wife works in sales. Freddy hopes to continue working and support his family. His dream for his daughters is that both receive a college education, become productive citizens and that they continue the family business.

Freddy is a tailor. He works off his home and he also goes door to door offering his services. He has been a tailor for 13 years. He started this business with the help of his mother and sister, who are both seamstresses. First, his mother taught him to make ladies' skirts, and then how to make men's pants. Later he started to work on his own to support his family, with one sewing machine and orders from a few customers.

The loan Freddy is requesting will be used as work capital to purchase fabric, needles, scissors, thread and buttons, to make uniforms.
