The Kantutas association, headed by group president Maritza Q., is a part of the Senkata center. They are a very responsible and organized group comprised of 12 members who have been working with Pro-Mujer for over eleven years. The members partake in different business activities. For example, Hilda has her own neighborhood general store while Celia sells coca leaves. Other members sell rice, are carpenters, or mind telephone booths at a call shop. The Kantutas association would like to boost sales, which is why they need bigger loans so that they can purchase wholesale products with the aim of increasing earnings for the benefit of their families.
