Cheng S. is 56 years old and a widow with 4 children. She is blind, but has learned traditional Khmer massage and earns $2/day. Her 4 children and 2 nephews live with her in Phnom Penh, and they all contribute to the household income and supporting their mother. Cheng S. will use this loan to buy a motorbike for her children and nephews to get to and from work. As the family continues to earn money, she dreams of building a concrete house so everyone can live properly together.
