V. is a rice farmer and grows green beans to sell. She is 61 years old and has two children, both of whom are single (one is employed as a garment worker and one works growing rice with the family). The family is supported by one daughter whose income is around $60 per month for working as a garment worker.

V.'s husband is 68 years old and works with V.. After the rice farming season, she grows green beans to sell for another source of income and now the crop is growing but she faces difficulty getting water to supply her crop. With her green bean growing business, to improve efficiency, V. would like to ask for a loan to purchase a pump to irrigate her green bean crop and for farming rice. She expects the loan will improve their income by using the pump. V.'s husband is shown in the photo because she was not available for photographing.
