Sok S. is 28 years old and runs a grocery store to make a living. She is able to earn about US$2.5 a day of profit. Her husband is a construction worker who builds houses. On average, he makes US$2.5 a day. This couple, pictured here, live in Bati district, Takeo province and have one young child. Sok S. is asking a loan to expand her grocery store by adding more products to meet her client’s demand, especially during Chiness New Year.
