Hannah Amoah lives in her hometown with both extended and immediate family. Her village name is Abirem in the eastern region of Ghana. Abirem is a farming community. Her husband is a farmer and her other family members are also farmers. Hannah has prepared and sold food and drink in the community school for twelve years now. She sells cocoa drink with bread, which is enjoyed by the school kids, and she also sells sachet mineral water. Cocoa drink is nutritious and contains so many vitamins which are good for both the young and for adults.

Hannah is 43 years old and married with five kids. Currently two of them are in senior high school. She requests the loan to buy an ice chest to keep the cold drinks, cocoa powder, sugar, milk, etc. so that she can save the proceeds from the business to cater for her kids in school. Hannah belongs to a village bank called Rejoice. She hopes to receive GH¢500 to make business progress by restocking her inventory.
