Her customers order pagnes (colorful West African cloth), necklaces, and shoes that they buy from her. She acquires her stock in Lomé. Her husband has helped. The other Kiva loans have enabled her to expand her offering. In the future, she would like to open a fish shop and to sell various goods in bulk.

Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
