Kut T., 38, pictured with her husband above, is a housewife who stays at home, looking after children and cooking for them. She owns a plot of land where she grows rice but her crop is just enough for her family members. Her husband, Thul Peng, 45, has a business selling banana ice-cream and makes US$ 7 a day. This couple together has six children, four of whom are employed and help bear the cost of living for the family as well. Two children are students.
Mrs. Kut T. is asking for a loan of US$ 600 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to transport ice-cream for sale.
