Philemon
Philemon is married to Mary Nefor and they are blessed with one child who is below 15 years of age. As a very hard working young man, he has come across some problems in life: his parents interrupted his educational career, lack of capital to expand his business, ill health, and the issue of theft that took away his chainsaw. These challenges made Philemon’s life disturbed until the year 2007 in which he saw GHAPE as a source of relief and became a member. In that same year, Philemon obtained his pioneer loan of 40,000frs and was able to make his repayments promptly.

Given this loan, he plans to buy timber for 50,000frs, Dunlop for 50,000frs, gum, varnish, sandpaper, etc. for 50,000frs and will buy cloth for 50,000frs. He will commence repayment from the same day of disbursement. He is convinced the business will progress because the demand for his product is high, he has had experience in the business; he has working material at any time. Those in his community will benefit from his business because he will train those who are interested, he will supply them with modern furniture, and will even increase the circulation of finance in his locality.

With the profit from the loan, he plans to buy a chainsaw so as to produce timber and create an outstanding fund so that those in his family can benefit from it when need arises. Philemon prefers to receive a loan from GHAPE because the method of repayment is comfortable and convenient.
