A loan of $800 helped a member to buy piglets.

Noong Het 10 Group's story

Mrs. Hoa, 26, is a young Thai lady who has been married and has a son who is the age of 6. She lives happily with her husband and her child, along with her niece (who was abandoned after the parents got divorced), in a traditional Thai house. They rely on agricultural production for a living, including growing rice, raising chickens, pigs and musk ducks.

Mrs. Hoa has constantly increased production through investment. This is the 3rd time she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em Program, and she will use it to buy piglets due to the success of the investment in pigs from the previous loan. She believes the investment will go well and she will gain high profit, especially with a great deal of support from ACE staff with regard to agricultural training and technical counseling.

Mrs. Lien dreams her son and her niece will escape from poverty and have a bright future. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
