En el municipio de El Viejo de la ciudad de Chinandega, el señor Oscar Ruperto M. se dedica a su actividad de agricultura dedicándose al cultivo de plátanos los cuales son vendidos en su casa de habitación en el municipio de El Viejo siendo visitado por varios clientes que le compran los plátanos y en ocasiones hasta clientes que no son del municipio.

Ceprodel le ha apoyado grandemente porque le ha beneficiado con créditos que los ha utilizado en la compra de insumos para la ganadería y hoy en día solicita un nuevo crédito para la compra de una bomba para riego de la siembra. Con este crédito se beneficiara porque comprará una bomba de riego para el cultivo de plátano.
