This village bank which consists of 16 people is located in Damnak Sangkae Village in Kandal Province and Mrs. Mom U. is village bank president. She is a housewife who cooks delicious food for her household. She is 37 years old and the mother of three children who are all attending the local school. Her husband, Mr. Phal Trai, is a well digger in the local village. In his business, he now faces a problem because he has insufficient equipment to dig the wells. So Mrs. Mom U. decided to ask for a loan to buy equipment for her husband's business.

This is a village bank loan consisting of some end-of-term (EoT) loans. Four members have EoT loans and the rest have monthly payment loans. Those receiving EoT loans are not required to pay any principal on the loan until the veR. end of the loan term. EoT loans are AMK's main product because it is the most beneficial to Cambodia's poor. It allows them to repay portions of the principal whenever they are financially able to. Most clients start to make payments many months before the end of the loan term. Almost all of AMK's clients make their payments on time. AMK has a delinquency rate of only 0.09% and AMK has a default rate of 0% on Kiva.
