The "Success" group is represented by Dony Mery who lives in the same neighborhood as her group partners. It's because they all live in the same neighborhood that they have the confidence to participate together in a group united by the responsibility that each member demonstrates toward her work. The majority of the partners work selling different types of products, such as clothing, food, handmade pieces of clothing and public transportation.Within the commercial sector there exists a lot of competition, particularly in supply and demand, since if you do not have quality products to offer the public, you are not competitive, and your earnings decline. It's for this reason that the partners of this group require a loan in order to increase the quality of their products, by making improvements in their work spaces, for example, in order to present a better image to demanding clientele. The partners of this group have demonstrated that they have experience in supportive groups and a great sense of responsibility to their commitments. Recognizing that, the Fundación Agrocapital is giving them the opportunity to obtain financing to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
