The "El Paraíso" association is located in the city of El Alto, in the Villa Adela zone. The members are happy to belong to the Pro-Mujer family because apart from loans they also receive trainings in order to improve their businesses. The majority of the members are married with children; they don't rely on their husbands for varying reasons, and have taken on the mantle of providing for their families.

There are various types of business within the "El Paraíso" association - some members have small grocery stores, others make Api (a sweet corn beverage) with pastries, and others sell cosmetics. The majority have a fixed location in various markets in the city of El Alto. They require major capital to expand their business and earn greater profits in order to make loan payments and generate daily income for their families.

En la zona Villa Adela de a ciudad de El Alto, se encuentra ubicado el centro focal del mismo nombre, a este pertenece la asociación “El Paraíso”. Ellas están muy contentas de pertenecer a la familia de Pro-Mujer porque además de los préstamos reciben capacitaciones para mejorar sus negocios.
Casi todas casadas y con numerosos hijos, no cuentan con la ayuda de sus parejas por distintos motivos, teniendo que ser responsables de sus familias.
Las actividades que realiza la asociación “El paraíso” son de todo tipo alguna de ellas tiene un pequeña tienda de abarrotes, otra actividad es la elaboración de Api (mazamorra de maíz) con pasteles, también se dedican a la venta de cosméticos y otros. La mayoría de ellas tiene un puesto fijo en distintos mercados de la ciudad de El Alto. Afirman que necesitan mayor capital para ampliar sus negocios y de esta manera generar mayores ganancias, que les permita cumplir con sus cuotas de crédito y obtener ingresos diarios para sus hogares.
