She resides in and rents a three-room house. They have electricity and no piped water at home. The family gets three meals a day.

She works in a semi-urban area which is in the outskirts of Kampala. She rents her business premises and uses public transportation to and from work. Christine works seven days a week. Christine has been with MCDT for four years, working all along with the same groupmates, and this is her eighth loan. She wants to use lthe oan to buy clothes for the festival season. Christine is aspiring to buy clothes from Dubai directly. The other group members have similar aspirations.
