Sao S., 49, is a grocery vendor, who resides with two of her children and her husband in the Kampong Cham province. She typically makes $5 a day, while her husband is a motor-taxi driver and works as a wedding chef. On average, he makes $2.50 a day. This couple also receives support from two children who work as hairdressers.
To make more money and raise their standard of living, Mrs. Sao S. would like to take out a loan of $1200 to add groceries to her inventory and purchase more hairdressing tools for her children.
