Ana is a member of the Palmeras (“Palm Trees”) Village Bank. Ana is 30 years old and single; she lives in a rented home. Ana has a call center, located in a rented space on a fairly busy street. She has three phone booths and also sells calling cards and prepaid cell phone cards.
Ana is requesting a loan of 800 soles to buy additional calling cards. Ana dreams of expanding her business, opening another location and earning a technical degree at a local institution.
