"Segara Mandala" group is a group of house wives in Tukadaya village. This group has already succeeded with their 1st loan which they used to raising pigs. They are earning a profit of IDR 550 thousand to IDR 750 thousand per 6 month period (around USD 50 - USD 70/ 6 month period).


Even though the profit is not high they are not discouraged. They are even planning to take the 2nd loan from Dinari foundation. They are planning to use the loan money to buy more piglets to be raised and also to buy pig's food. The loan period will be 6 month where they can repay the loan at the end of the loan period.


They are hoping to be able to expand the business so they can get more profit. WIth this they can improve their lives and also able to send their children to schools.

Kelompok ”Segara Mandala” yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu yang terletak di Desa Tukadaya merasa sangat senang sekali setelah menikmati hasil dari pinjaman yang pertama yang dipergunakan untuk modal pemeliharaan babi karena mereka sudah mendapatkan keuntungan walaupun baru sedikit antara Rp 550 000,- Sampai Rp 750 000,- per 6 bulan sekali.
Dengan keuntungan yang sedikit tersebut anggota kelompok tidak merasa kecewa,tetapi mereka tetap semangat untuk berusaha. Sehingga mereka akan melanjutkan permohonan pinjaman yang kedua yang nantinya akan dipergunakan untuk membeli bibit babi dan pakan babi dan janka waktu pinjaman selama 6 bulan serta pengembaliannya dilakukan akhir periode pinjaman. Dengan tetap melanjutkan usaha dalam beternak babi anggota kelompok Segara Mandala merasa optimis dalam peningkatan keuntungan karena mereka akan lebih mandiri dalam pemeliharaan ternak.Dengan pengharapan seperti ini maka anggota kelompok Segara Mandala berharap keuntungan akan terus meningkat sehingga mereka dapat menunjang perekonomian keluarganya lebih-lebih dalam melanjutkan pendidikan anaknya kejenjang yang lebih tinggi.
