At the age of 40 Ma Daisy has three children: Airish – 17 years old, college freshmen, Kim Lawrence – 14 years old, junior high school student, and Aimee Dae – 11 years old graduating in elementary. They reside in Brgy San Mateo, Quirino, Isabela near the municipal hall. Farming is the major source of income for most of the residents.

Ma Daisy is a food/snack vendor in her village, selling pork barbecue, cleaned chicken intestines, hotdogs and other kinds of street foods that are in demand. She prepares her roasting materials and ingredients every afternoon just in front of her house and her regular customers will come by for their snacks in the afternoon. She hopes to improve the business and add a greater variety of snacks to sell so that she will able to increase her income and better provide for the needs of her children in school. She is therefore requesting a loan for business capital.

Ma Daisy is doing all these things to feed her children and accrue savings for their education in the coming years.

Vending that supports their family Entrepreneur: Ma. Daisy Dalit Location: San Mateo Quirino, Isabela, Philippines Daisy is grateful that through the loan she borrowed, she was able to maintain her vending business of barbecue and different street foods in their village. She used the loan to buy pork and chicken meat, chicken intestine, hotdog and so on. She also purchased some Tupperware that she uses in the business. She said that from her income, she was able to help her husband in providing the needs of their family and school allowance of their children.
