Marivic Revilla got married when she was 17 years old. Marrying at a young age has not been a hindrance for her to have a happy family. In fact, it taught her to become productive.

She is now 19 years old and her husband Rock John Revilla is supporting their family through his farm business. The young couple has a two-year-old daughter named Shane-Ann. Their family is living in a mountainous area of Old San Mariano. This is considered to be a dangerous place but they are not afraid to live here because they believe that God is with them all the time.

Marivic is a very responsible wife and mother. She engaged in hog raising to help her husband earn additional income for their family. Her pigpen is located in their backyard. She also wants to have a store, which could be another source of income for them.

To further achieve her dreams, Marivic is asking for a loan of PHP 5,000.00 which she can use for her hog raising business and in starting her sari-sari (a community based store).

She hopes to have a better life as soon as possible for the welfare of their daughter and future children. “I don’t want my child to experience the hardships that I have been through. I am hoping that through my efforts, our life will be uplifted,” says Marivic.

To have a better life, provide good education to her child and a comfortable house for them are some of her prayers and dreams for her family. She believes that all of these will come into reality with their diligence and determination to look for possible opportunities.
