Korng K. T., 51, is married and resides with one of her children and her husband in the Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. Since 1979, she has been working as a village doctor making around $10 a day, while her husband Porn Phan, 55, works breeding pigs on a plot of land behind his house. Every month, Korng spends $60 on food, $30 on her children's education, and $30 on transportation.
Korng K. T. would like to take out a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike to use commuting to work. This will reduce her daily transportation costs. (Her husband is pictured.)
