“To teach my children good values as they grow older is very important” says Elvie Adriano, a client who is engaged in hog raising business. Elvie is married to Melanio who farms and does carpentry work. Elvie is 39 years old and has three daughters: MaryJane (20 years old, married, and a high school graduate), Marina (16 years old, high school graduate, and a house helper in anearby municipality), and Marissa (10 years old and in fifth grade).

Elive raises hogs, which helps provide money for farming and emergencies, and also allows her to perform her daily household chores. She is requesting a loan so she can expand her business and earn money to help her two younger daughters attend college. Despite problems that arise, Elvie's goal is to have a better life, especially for her daughters. She prays to overcome the challenges that arise through faith and hard work.
