Julián tells us that the house they live in was inherited from his parents. In order to start his business in 2003, he took out a loan from a relative. He made his first purchases and sales of staples such as rice, pasta, sugar, etc. These days, thanks to the good income his business brings in, he is able to cover household expenses and to pay for his son's good education. He is asking for a loan to buy merchandise such as rice, sugar, pasta, meat, dairy products, bread, canned goods, vegetable and fruit. With the end-of-year festivities approaching he wants to expand his inventory in order to satisfy his customers.
