Mrs. Rat C., of Lvengreusey Commune, Siem Reap Province, is a 37-year-old rice farmer and the mother of two children, both students. Her husband, Mr. Bing Ngorn, 32, has been a fisherman since 2005, earning approximately $6 per day.
Mrs. Rat is requesting a $1,000 loan to buy rice seed and fertilizers and to pay for the plowing of her farmland.
