El señor Ubaldo A. es una persona de 25 años de edad, con residencia en el Caserío Chotacaj, Aldea Vásquez, Totonicapán, Guatemala, trabaja en la artesanía, fabricante de cortes típicos de diferentes diseños, casado y con dos hijos, debido a la demanda que tiene de cortes típicos, se ve obligado a incrementar su capital y taller de telares, por lo que se acerco a la asociación ASDIR, a solicitar un préstamo de Q3,504.00 quetzales la cual utilizara para la compra de materia prima y así poder incrementar su producción de cortes típicos. Con la visión de poder mejorar su condición de vida de su familia y ayudar a sus dos hijos a que tengan la oportunidad de estudiar, ya que en los tiempos de su niñez sus padres no le pudieron dar la oportunidad de estudiar. Siendo una persona reconocida en su comunidad sin malos antecedentes.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
