Since his childhood, he has worked with crafts thanks to the knowledge his parents gave him. With the loans, he will be able to take his family forward. In his home in Paraje Chisay in Cantón Nimapa in the municipality and department of Totonicapán, Guatemala, he is a well-known person. He is requesting a loan from Asociación Asdir so that he can buy raw materials and assets for his craft so that he can provide far and meet the demand of his clients. In this way, he will be able to improve his family’s life.

El Señor Rudy Mejía de 20 años de edad, casado de oficios Comerciante, “Confección de Playeras Típicas” cuenta con un taller de 4 Maquinas, habita conjuntamente con su esposa y un hijo, cuentan con tres empleados para la misma actividad, desde su niñez se dedicaba en la Artesanía gracias a los conocimientos que sus padres le dieron y con los préstamos a podido llevar a su familia adelante donde es persona muy conocida, y su residencia en el Paraje Chisay del Cantón Nimapa del municipio y departamento de Totonicapán, Guatemala. Donde ha llegado a Solicitar a la Asociación Asdir un financiamiento para la compra de materia prima y activo para dicha artesanía para facilitar y poder cubrir la demanda a su clientela y así poder darle mejores condiciones de vida a su familia.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
