Gladys is is a member of the Torcaza (“Wood Pigeon”) Village Bank. Gladys is 23 years old and single. She is currently studying to be a high school teacher. Gladys and her fiancé have a small stand on a very busy street in Ayacucho where they sell cell phones, prepaid phone cards, and accessories, and offer technical assistance. Gladys needs a loan of 2000 soles to buy cell phones. Her dreams are to finish college, to be a good teacher, and to help her family.
