Vanntha is 57 years old, a rice and vegetable farmer, and a married woman with three children living in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been a farmer since 1985. Her husband is 62 and is also a farmer. Two of her children are garment factory workers and another is a student. Together, they can earn approximately $15 per day.
Now Vanntha would like to request a loan to buy a plow tractor for farming. This loan will help her work faster and earn more income. In the future, she is going to buy more farmland and save money for her youngest child to go to university.
