“La Esquinita” [The Little Corner] is the name of this credit group. It was chosen because the meetings are help at the nutrition club that belongs to one of the members and it is located on a corner.

The area where the group originated is in a sugar cane region. There is a sugar factory that is one of the biggest sugar producers in the state. In addition, the sugar factory is one of the main sources of employment along with farming, in the cane plantations.

The members of the group are hardworking women. Their main goal is to offer the families a better quality of life. For those that are single, it is to prepare for the future.

For 6 years, Rosalba has been registered with a nutritional products business. She says that at the beginning, it took her some work to become known, but today her level of sales has allowed her to open her nutrition club (selling from a locale). Rosalba is a very cheerful person. She is happy because with the help of the loan that VisionFund México gives her, she will buy more product to prepare the shakes. Her goal is to keep climbing the ranks of the business' sales structure. This will also allow her to acquire the products at a lower cost and have more profits.

“La Esquinita” es el nombre de este grupo de préstamo y se eligió porque las reuniones se llevan a cabo en el club de nutrición que pertenece a uno de los miembros y este se ubica en una esquina.

En la localidad donde se originó la agrupación, es una región cañera y hay un ingenio que forma parte de la lista de los de mayor producción de azúcar en el estado. Además, el ingenio representa una de las principales fuentes de empleo al igual que el campo, en las plantaciones de caña.

Las integrantes del grupo son mujeres muy trabajadoras, su principal propósito es ofrecerle una mejor calidad de vida a su familia y el de las que son solteras, prepararse para el futuro.

Desde hace ya 6 años, Rosalba años se inscribió a una empresa de venta de productos de nutrición.
