Julio is a 44 year old man, married and the father of one son. He makes a living off of the coca leaf. He is enterprising, gentle, modest, patient, responsible and hard working. He started his business in a municipality characterized by the harsh conditions brought on by high altitude (4000 meters above sea level) and its proximity to Lake Titicaca.
Julio has a dark complexion, short black hair, he is of medium height and has strong hands from working the land. His native tongue is Aymara and he uses Spanish at his work. His business is the buying and selling of coca. It is an ancient practice that dates back to Incan and pre-Incan times. In order to do his work, he needs to constantly be travelling large distances so he can find product to sell. Julio has goals and needs; one of his dreams is to purchase a lot of land in order to grow his own coca in his native town and he needs to pay for the education of son and also to repair his home in order to improve his quality of life.
And so, Julio is asking for a loan in order to purchase land and to pay for his son's education.

Él es emprendedor, tranquilo, humilde, paciente, responsable y muy trabajador. Su negocio lo realiza en el municipio de batallas caracterizado por la altura del lugar (4000metros sobre el nivel del mar) y su cercanía al lago Titicaca.
Julio es de tez morena, cabello negro corto, estatura mediana, manos duras por el trabajo en la tierra, su lengua natal es el aymara y utiliza el español para el trabajo. Su negocio es el comercio de coca; una costumbre milenaria desde los tiempos preincaicos e incaicos. Para realizar su labor él debe viajar constantemente grandes distancias hasta encontrar la hoja para después comercializarla. Julio tiene metas y necesidades; el sueño de su vida es realizar la compra de un lote de terreno para la producción de la hoja de coca en su pueblo natal, y necesidades como; pagar los gastos escolares de su hijo y también refaccionar su vivienda para mejorar su calidad de vida.
Es por esos motivos que Julio solicita un préstamo para la compra de tierras y con los beneficios pagar la educación de su hijo.
