Faridah lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with five children and four go to school. She sells charcoal from home on a retail basis. She has been in this business for the last 2 years. She has no additional family members. She works seven days a week. She gets additional income from selling piped water. She has requested for a loan of 700,000 from MCDT SACCO to buy bags of charcoal. Her major challenge includes transportation. She is aspiring of buying a van to ease transportation. She lives in her own house and the family has no access to electricity and piped water. Her major expense includes food and medication.
