Mr. Thy S. is 26 years old and a rice farmer, who also raises female ducks to make eggs to sell wholesale to customers. His wife, Mrs. Sokthavy Noun, 20, is also a farmer and has two young children who live at home. They live in Svayloung Commune in Pursat Province.
Thy applied for a loan of 1,500,000 riel ($375) to purchase more ducks for breeding and hopes that a loan will help him to increase his income.
