Azemine
Azemine is 39 years old and the mother of two children. Her husband is a construction worker with a low salary and they receive social help. She is very happy to have the opportunity to have a new home that the municipality has built for them. In the past they were very poor and had terrible living conditions and standards, so the new home is much appreciated and needed. The new house is not completely finished and still needs the toilet to be completed, so she is requesting a loan. This loan will help to contribute to her family’s better living standards and situation and she is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all of the lenders.

About KosInvest

KosInvest is a micro-enterprise development organization that provides loans to help people in rural Kosovo generate more income and improve their living conditions. It offers a wide range of loan products, from loans tailored to micro and small enterprises to loans designed to help women-headed households.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
