41-year-old Gohar is from Vanadzor town, where she lives with her husband. Her husband is an army officer. Gohar herself runs a small cafe in the center of Vanadzor town, near a college. Nearby students prefer to have their lunch in Gohar's cafe. She is a very nice and polite woman.

Now Gohar asks for this loan to be able to purchase food, chairs and other supplies needed for her cafe and provide better service to her customers. Her loan has been approved within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products.
