A loan of $1,300 helped to buy fertilizer and to pay for labor to assist and maintain her coffee crops.

Bricelda's story

Bricelda is very happy and very satisfied; thanks to various Kiva lenders in partnership with the cooperative COMIXMUL, she invested her financing in paying for labor to be able to fertilize and tag her pre-existing coffee crops and the coffee plants that are small where the coffee is green so that the product remains solid and good quality. Thanks to this financing she thinks it was a door that opened at the right moment, because she was in precarious conditions for doing the last maintenance on her coffee plantation. Giving her coffee a last round of fertilizer allowed her to fortify her it even more; her crops needed this last maintenance and she hadn't done it due to a lack of capital.

Bricelda is very grateful to God first for allowing her to access these funds, as she was able to get ahead with her commitment. She is again asking for a second loan that will allow her to invest in buying supplies that will enable her to fertilize, clean and pay labor for this new season.
