Pauline is 38 years old and lives in the town of Abaita in the Kampala region of Uganda. She is married and has 5 children, with 3 of them currently in school. For the past 4 years, Pauline has been working hard to manage her stationery shop.
To help expand her business, Pauline has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy books, reams of paper, pen and pencils, and will help Pauline to generate greater profits and start up another branch. Pauline hopes that, in the future, she will be able to to be financially stable.
