John is 53 years old and lives in the town of Kumi in the Soroti region of Uganda. He is married and has five children, one currently in school. For the past 18 years, John has been working hard to manage his health clinic.
To help expand his business, John has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy syringes, medicine, beds, and bedding, and will help John to generate greater profits and improve his service. John hopes that in the future, he will be able to increase his working capital.
