Karina Yasmy

Karina has applied for a loan of 1500 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy a better variety and quantity of animals such as guinea pigs, ducks and hens which will allow her to sell them at a higher price. By doing so she will be able to garner more customers, generate a greater income and improve the quality of life for her family.

Karina Yasmy tiene 33 años de edad, su estado civil es conviviente, vive en Cayalti, una comunidad que se dedica a la agricultura, comercio y ganadería, ubicada en la Provincia de Chiclayo que pertenece a la Región Lambayeque, costa norte del Perú.


Karina tiene como herramienta de trabajo principal su motataxi, la cual alquila su a un tercero para transporte urbano; adicionalmente ella se dedica a la venta de panca; a la crianza y venta de animales de corral, desde hace algunos años, Karina cria a sus animales en la parte posterior de su domicilio, y ha solicitado un préstamo a Edpyme Alternativa de 1500 nuevos soles para la compra de una mayor cantidad y variedad de animales como cuyes, patos y gallinas que le permitan ofrecerlos a un mejor precio, lo que le ayudará a la captacion de más clientes, generandole así mayores ingresos y mejoers ganancias que le permitirán mejorar su calidad de vida y la de su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
