Agnes
Agnes is 30 years old and lives in the town of Nansana in the Kampala region of Uganda. She is married and has two children, who are all currently in school. For the past 20 years, Agnes has been working hard to manage her fish vending business, in which she sells fish.

To help expand her business, Agnes has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more fish, and will help Agnes to generate greater profits and business expansion. Agnes hopes that in the future, she will be able to have a bigger business.

Agnes is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Agnes who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
