Milton
Milton is 34 years old and lives in the town of Kasubi in the Kampala region of Uganda. He is married and has two children, one of whom is currently in school. For the past five years, Milton has been working hard to manage his poultry business which rears chickens.

To help expand his business, Milton has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more chickens to rear and sell, which will help Milton to generate greater profits and increase the family's income. He hopes that in the future, he will be able to have a bigger farm.

Milton is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Milton who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for micro-loans.
