Vianney is 38 years old and lives in the town of Rukoki, in the Fort Portal region of Uganda. He is married and has five children, with four of them currently in school. For the past five years, Vianney has been working hard to manage his bar, which sells beer, water, spirits, and soda.

To help expand his business, Vianney has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to stock beer, water, spirits and soda, and will help Vianney to generate greater profits and expand the business. He hopes that in the future he will be able to grow in the business.

Vianney is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Vianney who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
