Edmond is 33 years old and lives in the town of Kacwamba in the Fortportal region of Uganda. He is married and has three children with two of them currently in school. For the past two years, Edmond has been working hard to manage his video library, which sells beers and DVDs.

To help expand his business, Edmond has requested a loan of 3,000,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more DVDs and beers, and will help Edmond to generate greater profits and increase capital. Edmond hopes that in the future he will be able to expand his business.

Edmond is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Edmond who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
