Pool Jhon
Pool was born in the Maynas province of Iquitos, in the jungles of Peru. He came to Lima in search of better opportunities to study and become a professional.
He currently lives in Lima with his sister and her husband who have taken charge of his education and maintenance since his parents still live in their homeland and are not economically capable of helping financially.
His sister is a household and her husband has a small bookstore. They have a young son which makes it difficult for them to pay for Pool's studies. He would have to leave school if he did not have the support of Kiva lenders to help him obtain a more affordable tuition so he can continue to afford his education.
Peru is a rising exporter of textiles and Pool wants to be part of this. He is working hard to complete his studies in textile mechanics. He has the dream of becoming his own boss, preparing new models in fibers and fabrics in order to sell them in domestic and foreign markets.
This is why he is very grateful to all the support given by Kiva lenders. He already wants to tell them that he will study hard and not fail in his payments as she understands that the Kiva lenders help many young people and by meeting his payments he is helping others like Pool as they try to complete their dreams.

More information about this loan

This loan is structured on Kiva.org as a bullet-loan, or featuring only a single payment at the end of the loan term. Kiva's partner IPFE offers students an optional grace period and flexible repayment schedule, as their capacity to repay is limited and often unpredictable during the course of their studies. This means that although this student client is likely to make a number of small, gradual repayments over the course of his or her loan term, Kiva and IPFE are unable to project when exactly these will occur. Therefore, although these payments have not been factored into the repayment plan on Kiva, you will likely be reimbursed for a portion of this loan before the bullet payment at the end of the loan term.

About IPFE:
