Mrs. Nhor S. is 39 years old and makes a living by fishing. She lives in Anlongsamnor Commune in the Siem Reap Province in Cambodia. She has three children; two are students, and one works as a fisherman and contributes to the family’s living expenses. Nhor's husband, Mr. Sophat Un, 43, is also a fisherman. He started fishing in 1979, and he depends on the supply of fish in the Tunle Sap Lake.

Nhor requests a loan of 2,000,000 riel ($500) to purchase fishing equipment for her husband. With better tools, her husband can earn more and be able to provide more food for their children.
