Halima is married, with five children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
She operates a goat meat business, selling at the market to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. Her dream is to establish a rental house in the near future.
With the KES 50,000 loan, Halima wants to purchase seven goats to expand her business. She decided to join Yehu Microfinance Trust to access loans to boost her business.
